Hey saweetieeeeee. This is a series where I test, review and recommend some of the most raved about products, and some of the most underrated products you might be missing out on.

1. Mario Badescu - 'Aloe, Herbs and Rose Water' Facial spray, £4.95-£11.50 - beautybay.com

This clever concoction of Aloe Vera, herbs and rose water is life changing. This magical mist is universal in use and skin types, where it can be the key to a healthy and dewy glow on a fresh face, or to set make up.

I personally can always rely on this elixir to enhance my highlighter, alongside being friendly to the wide spectrum of skin types, from oily to dry. It is extremely hydrating and practically face food for your pores you can instantly feel it rejuvenating your skin, the results are also evident the next morning. And oh so practical, this won’t take more than two pumps of your time.

2. Kat Von D - 'Lock It!' Cream Concealer, £21- feelunique.com

Eye bags tatted to your face? Hyperpigmentation? Look no further, this concealer is a blanket for any blemish, immediately melting into the skin post application, the rich solution leaves a flawless and poreless complexion with a matte finish. I appreciate there being an extensive variety of shades, any skin colour can identify with.

This essential is complimentary to any setting/baking powder or bronzer, also being absorbent of highlighters, and acting as the perfect primer for shadows. I’ve personally never been a foundation girl, so this is the prime substitute. ‘a little going a long way’ in this case is defiantly an understatement, where one tube can last, what feels like a life time with minimal transfer properties. And to add to that, this brand is 100% cruelty free!

3. Urban Decay - 'Razor Sharp' Liquid eyeliner, £17.50

If you want a cut throat wing liner, I highly recommend this gem. Its water-proof, distinctly pigmented, flake free, and faithfully long lasting. Channel your inner Picasso with a few strokes of this kohl, to complete the masterpiece.

The slim tip allows you the precision to dictate the fate of your look, from between a thick, bold cat liner or fine lines for a double wing.

4. Lush - 'Bubblegum' Lip scrub, £6.50

Small but powerful! This little guy is a beast when defeating any dead/dry skin, revealing soft, plump and very kissable lips. ‘Feeding someone is the truest form of love’, some say, which tremendously applies in this instance. After the caster sugar and jojoba oil exfoliate the lips and restore moisture, you can simply lick the residue off, as lush products are all natural and also cruelty free.

5. Nyx - 'Voluptuous' Mascara, £8

Or as I like to call it, ‘The Separator’, the perfect foundation for heavier mascaras. Where the thin bristled wand is magical in giving each and every single eyelash attention prepping them, by combing the keratin, collagen and vitamin infused formula through. As the recipe is not so heavy, layering mascara is child’s play for fluttery, flirty lashes.
