If you're a baddie that cares about the environment, then this one's for you (and you're already a 10/10). The stigma around vegan and cruelty free make-up being shitty quality, is outdated and could not be further from the truth. These brands have been proving that.

And I bet my bottom dollar, you've been using and loving products from some of these brands and didn't even know they were vegan.

1. Kat Von D Beauty

This brand defies the notion behind vegan make-up being low-quality, as all the products are high coverage and pigmented like most other brands. The ‘Lock It’ concealer and ‘Tattoo Liner’ are some of their most popular products- well known for their high coverage and bold colour. You have to trust make up from a tattoo artist?? Come on.

2. E.L.F Cosmetics

Not only is this brand unbelievably affordable, but is also 100% vegan. It has made an admirable effort to adjust their formulas to be vegan and cruelty free, using sustainable ingredients. Their make-up is typically used as a dupe for many other brands products, due to their high-quality and low price.

3. Lime Crime

If you’ve ever used their Matte Velvetine liquid lipsticks, you’ll be just as shocked as me to know that they’ve been vegan and cruelty-free since 2012. Because those liquid lipsticks are ripe with pigment and bold, with an extensive shade range to fit any look. Don’t even get me started on their eyeshadow palettes or freckle pen.

4. Farsali

Farsali offer a variety of excellent quality skincare products but people could not stop talking about their serums. There is a visible difference after a singular use, justifying the high price. Their Rose Gold Elixir reigned over Instagram beauty videos, and was a fan favourite for its real gold flakes and glass-skin finish it guarantees.

5. Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez

Unlike many make up lines launched by celebrities, Tik-Tok beauty bloggers have confirmed this one definitely stands out from the rest. It is well known for its highly pigmented, versatile products. The Melting Cream blush is adored as a blush, lip stain and eyeshadow.

What a time to be alive! Vegan and cruelty-free practices have been planting their roots into the make-up/cosmetics manufacturing industry and I am here for it! There is nothing hotter than someone who loves the Earth xxxxx
