After “Le Splash”, Simon Porte Jacquemus switched it up from his brilliant blues and electric pinks for a more minimalist white-bridal vibe in tribute to his forthcoming wedding! The all-white looks were showcased on a crisp white dune in the south of France, as models were decorated in sheer linen, veils and chandelier earrings. The chill vests, flowy dresses, blouses and mini-skirts were balanced with cut-out detailing and black accents, through a total of 61 beguiling looks.
A white palette was undertaken but beiges, ivories and creams were a subtle touch in accentuating the white mesh pieces. It was really reminding me of the white garments from the Galliano SS92 collection. Halter necks, shoulder pads and pleats were weaved into most designs, alongside a white flower-like tassel appeared to be a statement piece through the line - stringing off the earrings, hair or garments.

This halter neck mesh dress is just precious, and the string flower tassel is just *chef’s kiss*
Olive greens, mauves and chocolates were immersed into knit dresses and two pieces, which helped ground the collection and break up the white streak, while delicately oozing 'autumn'.

I particularly love this olive-green knit maxi dress with the off the shoulder detailing, and dark green outlining, wow.
Pieces were sculpted with collars for a uniform aesthetic with cut-out blazers, alongside tulle trains and veils for the fluorescent bridal look. But shear jackets and knit pieces contrasted the sheer material garments. Optical and unconventional necklines added to the abstract ambience, giving each look a twist of its own.

My jaw honestly dropped when I saw this. First of all, that asymmetric off-the-shoulder long sleeve top, wreathed with a collar and pocket-like flaps, worn by the stunning Lila Moss. It’s giving a Y2K cargo vibe, and the pleat linen trousers go too well with it. I’d 10/10 sell a kidney for this fit.
Parts of designer’s collaboration with Nike Humara made a cheeky little cameo, through puffers and the swoosh embellished onto pieces, which will be dropping today!
Defiantly one of my favourite collections of this year. Jacquemus is cut from a different cloth entirely to kill with a relaxed bridal chic, complimentary to his impending wedding.
